Lier will get a tourist attraction in two years' time. Just outside the ring road, a contractor has started building a new Abarth museum. Abarth is an Italian car brand, known for its variations on the Fiat 500, among others.

The inspirer of the museum is a car enthusiast who owns 250 vintage cars himself. 100 of them are Abarths, which is immediately one of the largest collections in the world.
